The rise of NFT music has paved the way for a new era of digital disruption and artist empowerment. That’s a great premise, but how does it all work?

NFTs are unique digital assets stored on blockchain, a secure transactional database. This means one can prove ownership, authenticity, and they cannot be exchanged on a one-to-one basis. The big deal here is that it gives artists increased autonomy and control over their work, creates new revenue streams, and if done right, generates music fan engagement.

Here at Road Hounds we believe in the power and potential of NFT music. We think we’ve created a way for you to capitalize on their potential and to revolutionize Rock ‘n’ Roll as we know it.

In the early days of blockchain, artists and innovators began to recognize the potential of NFTs to revolutionize music.  This new technology has seen both established and up-and-coming artists embracing NFT music as a means to take control of the monetization of their work.

But it doesn’t stop at albums.  Unique audio-visual collectibles and virtual concerts have also been created, as well as exclusive access to unreleased material and other experiences. These new opportunities , done right, should create deeper connections between artists and their fans.

As the technology and how it is used creatively continue to evolve, intriguing possibilities lie ahead for music, as does the potential for it to go mainstream with the widest possible consumer appeal.

Creating a digital asset begins with the artist “minting” the NFT, then listing it on various NFT marketplaces, such as OpenSea, Rarible, or Foundation, where buyers find them and bid for them. These sales can take various forms, including auctions and fixed-price sales.

A key challenge for the music NFT space is the potential for fraud, such as unauthorized minting and selling of copyrighted works. Road Hounds believes it will be possible for musicians, collectors, and platforms (like ours) to work together to address these concerns.

As more artists embrace NFTs, we can expect a proliferation of creativity and collaboration that drives innovation and fan engagement. Virtual reality, interactive experiences and metaverse integrations will all be perfected and play their part.

Road Hounds believes the development of new platforms catering specifically to talent looking to break through will play a highly significant role in shaping the future landscape of music. We are developing a metaverse rock club for NFT pioneers to do exactly that.

We call it Rock and Roll 3.0: The Decentralized Music Movement. Be part of the revolution, shape the sound of tomorrow. Let’s work together to harness the transformative power of NFTs and the Metaverse to usher in a new era of Rock n Roll.
